Valentine’s Day is here, I mean was here.... just today! Wanted to splurge into a whole variety of bakes!! Managed some of it. After all the whole baking thing is time consuming - so if u are not smitten by the baking bug it’s going to be a hell of a task for you!! 😅 For me it works as therapy. I don’t keep the time count as I enjoy it. Few of my friends have taken into the baking fun after all the recipes I shared. Each one has done excellent, may be better, but then it stops there. After a recipe or two - even if came out excellent - there is no spree. It stops there.                                 Mumbai and Winters!! Yes the winter is here....😅                    For the first time in many years, this winter there's no fan from last 2 days! And today I was surprised seeing myself walking around in the house with my pair of socks on 😆.                     Well, now totally gripped in my cooking baking spree, I still find the "soul" food is something which is cooked by someone else....😜. Just had a serving of Yam Kababs made by a friend and they were simply super delicious! I think we should all go back to the roots - start the barter system for at least cooked food.  Amongst many other things people learnt during this lock down - is introspection! 😈😆.  I think that was the best thing to learn. It made everyone a lot calmer and non judgemental about many issues we face on day to day basis. Biggest example being the house help not cleaning things properly on a regular basis 😬.  Then I observed with no help when I started doing it, my best move was, making short cuts 3rd day onwards....😝.  So, just going to and fro with these thoughts, I thought about our moms generation who had just stepped out to work. Everything was under their forte - their new portfolio - a job, and expected portfolio - children plus household work!
